Themes can be inexpensive by having students help with drinks and snacks. Some examples of theme are they can be a Hawaiian luau theme, beach theme, campout theme, etc. There are many different blog posts dedicated to giving great examples of theme and ways to decorate for those themes!

These are a fun and inexpensive addition to the party. A phone or tablet can be used to capture the pictures for the photo booth. There can be fun themed props to use for the photo booth! Also, there can be a fun cutout saying “I’m a __ grader” is a great way to get students excited about moving on to a higher grade!

Prior to the party, teachers can have a countdown on the board, wall, or door to get students excited for the last day of school! There can be fun ways make the countdown interactive. Countdowns are fun for both teachers and students!

Memory Books

Teachers can give memory books full of work that was done by each student throughout the year. They can also have additional pages in back to fill out for end of the year reflections and/or notes. This can also be a great way to get rid and reuse some of the paperwork that was collected throughout the year.

End of the Year Parties

They are a fun way for students and teachers enjoy their last day together before the summer break. Both have been working hard all year and so having a celebration is a great way to wrap it up.
